Job summary

Rocket Learning in Delhi invites an IT Engineer to join our in-office team at Greater Kailash. You will troubleshoot API issues, support laptops, mobile devices, routers, and coordinate with teammates to keep IT systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting network equipment and devices (WiFi access points, mobile devices, laptops, routers).
• Take ownership of IT workstreams and manage them end-to-end.
• Develop and enhance IT-related modules; coordinate with teammates across IT functions.
• Provide desktop support to end users for hardware/software issues.
• Manage Jira tickets and route them to appropriate teams.

IT Engineer

Location: Greater Kailash, Delhi

Key Results

• Able to solve potential problems like API issues, and troubleshoot the laptop, mobile devices, and routers.
• Coordinate with the team to solve potential problems like mobile-related issues and API issues
• Able to provide remote desktop support to the users and resolve their Hardware and software issues related to their laptop
• Demonstrating leadership qualities by proactively addressing and discussing issues with the team
• Facilitated coordination between the internal team and the Tech team to ensure seamless operations.
• Experience with cloud-based technology such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure.
• Manage our hardware system, including ensuring good connectivity and steady functioning of mobile devices,laptops, storage systems, and internet systems. Ensure smooth running of software and data backup of devices (mobile and desktop).

Key Activities

• Troubleshooting network equipment such as WiFi access Points /Mobile devices, meeting devices, and applications.
• Taking ownership of the workstreams and managing them end-to-end.
• Managing, developing, and enhancing modules for IT-related tasks.
• Coordinate with the teammates in various IT-related functions and keep them motivated.
• Communicating the work progress with the Team Lead and vendors.
• Managing the Jira tickets and routing them to the specific teams.
• Providing desktop support to the end users facing laptop hardware/software issues

Areas of Responsibilities

• Address the overall administrative and support requirements of the organization, encompassing tasks such as procurement, capital expenditures, office management, and basic data collection.
• Experienced in solving potential problems like API issues, and troubleshooting mobile, laptop, and router devices.
• Collaboration with vendors (HR, accounting, printing, bill payments), and other necessary coordination.
• Experience building and deploying project infrastructure across various physical, Virtualized,and containerized platforms like AWS, and Azure and understanding stakeholders’ requirements.
• Experience with cloud-based technology such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure.
• Evaluate, and recommend Hardware and Software requirements.

Critical Factors for Success

• Experience with hardware management and troubleshooting, ability to manage software on devices
• Excellent communication skills to understand the needs of the team and deliver above expectations; familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint preferred
• Having hands‑on experience With AWS and Cloud Infrastructure Architecture
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Furthermore, proficiency in managing Android phones would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of SQL queries and Database would be beneficial
