Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Build strong networks and relationships within business functional teams and/or value streams
• Understand business objectives and identify Minimal Viable Products to validate business hypotheses and create value
• Communicate effectively to support successful implementation of valuable investments
• Identify opportunities to adopt existing technology or pursue new innovation aligned with strategic objectives
• Develop knowledge of business units' or value streams' long-term goals and create awareness within IDS of strategic business outcomes
• Contribute to IDS and BRM strategies supporting business goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain multi-year technology capability roadmaps with Enterprise Architecture
• Work with PMO to maintain a healthy initiative portfolio aligned with Lean Portfolio Management practices
• Gather initiative cost bases and build reliable business cases using Proofs of Concept and Minimum Viable Products
• Communicate with stakeholders to drive adoption, measure value, and identify leading indicators
• Partner with delivery teams to execute the investment portfolio, focusing on business value
• Collaborate with business partners and business relationship managers on cross-functional opportunities and challenges
• Cascade business knowledge to delivery teams and promote the value of IDS

Requirements

• Recognized University Degree in IT or technology related subject or proven relevant experience
• 6 to 8 years experience within IT / Software Services / Technology related discipline
• Strong ability to rely on intuition and problem-solving skills
• Excellent awareness of IT market and technology changes, ideally within the Energy industry
• Change management facilitation and ability to guide and influence acceptance of new processes and technology
• Ability to balance user, stakeholder and technical needs within budgets and demanding timelines
• Business analytical skills, including numerical, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to articulate intricate issues clearly and non-technically, both written and verbally
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a LEAN and Agile mindset
• Ability to identify strategic initiatives and develop long-term roadmaps with value streams and/or business domains
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Efficient working practices and ability to produce deliverables on schedule
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Product Owner beneficial but not essential
