Job summary

Black Box is seeking an Asset Management Associate to maximize profitability through meticulous IT asset inventory control, asset recovery from resigned employees, and accurate updating of asset status. You will support the IT team and maintain up-to-date asset inventory.

Responsibilities include tracking hardware assets, liaising with suppliers to obtain best prices, and coordinating with HR for onboarding/offboarding processes.

Job Description:

The Asset Management associate, you will be responsible helping to maximize the profitability of the business through analysis inventory, recovery of asset from resigned employees, tracking and coordinating to get assets back from resigned employees. Updating status of asset, supporting IT team and keeping Asset inventory up to date.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and track all physical IT Assets of the organisation including Laptops, Desktops, peripherals, physical Servers, Network devices etc.


• IT Asset inventory management.


• Recovery of IT Assets from Black Box exit employees.


• Asset allocation/deallocation.


• IT Operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Running and analyzing inventories of all IT assets


• Liaising with suppliers to obtain the best price for assets


• Working with asset management systems and tracking technologies


• Creating documents / approval notes and keeping track of it


• Coordinating with required HR Team globally


• Support onboarding/offboarding processes by managing equipment assignment and retrieval.


• Reconcile physical asset inventories against system records through periodic audits and cycle counts.


• Collaborating, various email communications, tracking and follow-ups for various operations


• Responsible for engaging and managing third-party vendors when acquiring new assets


• Responsible for the monthly reviews of operating reports and generate reports and dashboards on asset inventory, license utilization, depreciation, and compliance status for leadership review.
