Job summary

Trent Limited in Mumbai is seeking an Asset Management professional to maintain precise records of IT assets and track lifecycle from procurement to disposal. You will ensure all movements are captured in the Asset Management System and perform regular physical verifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets including laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, peripherals, and software licenses.
• Track asset lifecycle activities such as procurement, allocation, transfer, repair, replacement, and disposal.
• Ensure all asset movements are recorded in the Asset Management System.
• Perform regular inventory audits and physical asset verification.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain optimum inventory availability.
• Coordinate receipt, tagging, labelling, and storage of IT assets.
• Reconcile inventory records and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory and asset utilization reports.
• Coordinate asset issuance and collection during employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
• Ensure timely recovery of assets from exiting employees.
• Update asset ownership and allocation records accurately.
• Maintain asset-related documentation, audit records, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company asset management policies and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external asset audits.
• Coordinate with Procurement, IT Support, HR, and vendors for asset-related activities.
• Raise and track purchase requests for new assets.
• Escalate issues related to asset shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Handle asset-related service requests and queries within defined SLAs.
• Support ticket management through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira Service Management.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding asset availability and status.
