upGrad Rekrut is seeking an experienced Senior Application Analyst – FIS to lead advanced technical analysis, provide application support, and oversee operational reliability for FIS platforms and related enterprise systems in Gurgaon. The candidate will work closely with business teams, developers, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, support enhancements, and ensure secure, stable performance.

• Analyze production incidents, defects, processing exceptions, and interface failures to identify root causes and drive resolution.
• Gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements for fixes and enhancements.
• Support solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production validation.
• Monitor application performance, transaction flows, interfaces, and operational trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate data discrepancies, reconciliation breaks, and failed transactions to ensure end-to-end process integrity.
• Support inbound and outbound integrations, including API, file-based, and middleware-enabled interfaces.
• Validate data mappings, transformation logic, reconciliation rules, and exception-handling processes.
• Support incident triage, problem management, escalation, and release readiness activities, including defect tracking, cutover, and stabilization.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process flows, support procedures, control matrices, and issue logs.
• Promote automation, establish standards, and pursue ongoing enhancements to minimize manual work and boost system reliability.

Job Profile Summary

The Senior Application Analyst – FIS is responsible for advanced technical analysis, application support, and operational oversight for FIS platforms and related enterprise systems. This role works closely with business teams, developers, infrastructure, production support, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, support enhancements, and maintain stable, secure, and efficient application performance.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in enterprise application support, integration, transaction processing, and operations, with the ability to convert business needs into technical solutions and support both project delivery and day-to-day system reliability.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical analysis, systems analysis, application support.
• Strong experience with production support, data flows, transaction processing, and technical dependency analysis.
• Working knowledge of APIs, file interfaces, middleware, data mapping, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with testing, defect management, release coordination, and post-production support.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, change control, incident management, and operational support processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across business and technical teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting FIS applications, including Treasury and Risk Manager, SWIFT Services, and Get Paid.
• Experience supporting Accounts Payable systems; experience with Bravo Tran is preferred.
• Experience with Cargo Wise ERP is strongly preferred.
• Experience with legal systems, compliance platforms, contract lifecycle management (CLM), or billing applications is a plus.
• Experience in financial services, banking platforms, fintech, payments, or other transaction-processing environments.
• Experience with banking file formats such as BAI, MT940, and CAMT.052.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring, reporting, or service management tools.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
