Job summary

NPS North in Bengaluru, Karnataka seeks an IT Administrator to maintain the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and networking gear. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and applications to ensure smooth operations.

You will monitor network performance and Wi‑Fi, manage user accounts and emails, provide tech support to teachers, staff and students, and coordinate with vendors for procurement and repairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/IT or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT or System Administration.
• Experience in education sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and networking equipment.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, operating systems, and applications.
• Monitor network performance, Wi-Fi connectivity, and internet services to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Manage user accounts, email systems, and access permissions.
• Provide technical support to teachers, administrative staff, and students.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT equipment procurement and repairs.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and software licenses.
• Support smart classrooms, interactive displays, CCTV systems, biometric devices, and other educational technologies.
• Assist in implementing new technologies and digital initiatives across the school.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and IT policies.
