Job summary

VisionsDream Cloud in Gandhamguda, India, is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to install, configure, and maintain internal networks and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in similar roles, strong technical skills, and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities include managing IT security policies, conducting system audits, and being the primary point of escalation for complex IT issues. This role requires excellent communication skills and an ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of proven experience as an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
• Experience in a software development or IT services company is preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications are highly preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain internal networks, servers, firewalls, and endpoint devices (Windows, Mac, and Linux).
• Manage and monitor cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and enterprise SaaS applications, including Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 and internal CRMs such as Salesforce.
• Oversee IT aspects of the employee lifecycle: provision hardware, create accounts, manage access permissions, and ensure smooth IT onboarding and offboarding.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies, conduct regular system audits, manage data backups, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Serve as primary point of escalation for complex hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets and manage relationships with external hardware and software vendors for procurement and renewals.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven experience as an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or a similar role, preferably within a software development or IT services company.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and switching); hands‑on experience with Active Directory, LDAP, or modern identity management systems; familiarity with cloud hosting administration (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies; experience writing basic scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate routine IT tasks.

Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are highly preferred.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple tasks.
