Vice President – Finance Operations
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee the finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP/Ind AS.
- Prepare Credit Monitoring Agreement (CMA) data.
- Coordinate audits by preparing relevant documents and liaising with external, internal, and tax auditors.
- Ensure robust internal controls across financial reporting, budgeting, information systems, asset protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, income tax, and commercial taxes.
Cost Analysis & Financial Performance:
- Conduct continuous cost reduction analysis across all company departments.
- Report key financial trends to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Manage capital and operational expenditure budgets.
- Monitor sales order pricing and invoice management.
- Improve collections efficiency and working capital turnover.
MIS & Reconciliation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Handle invoice management for operations and projects.
- Manage fixed assets accounting, including additions and retirements.
- Perform reconciliation of raw materials, vendor/customer balances, and other financial data.
Cash Flow & Fund Management:
- Monitor payments and ensure timely renewals of fund-based and non-fund-based limits with banks.
- Forecast cash flow, borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
- Manage relationships with banks, including monitoring working capital, stock statements, and bank guarantees.
- Oversee the opening and tracking of LC payments and ensure adequate insurance coverage.
Operational Excellence:
- Drive process improvement initiatives, particularly using SAP S4 Hana.
- Manage statutory and bank compliance, along with legal appeal processes.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Educational Qualifications:
- A degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related analytical fields.
- CA, CMA, or Company Secretary certification is mandatory.
Work Experience: 15-18 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Advanced knowledge of MS tools for building and maintaining financial models.
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.
