Job summary

Maxwell Energy System Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru invites an experienced Finance Leader to head the finance and administration functions. You will supervise finance staff, collaborate with CXOs, and sit on the Leadership Team to drive financial strategy.

The role requires strong SAP FICO/HANA, Ind AS expertise, GST, TDS, and tax compliance across multiple countries, with 10+ years of leadership in finance and a CA/Master's background.

Qualifications

• Independent preparation of Financial Statements under IndAS and handling Financial and IFCoR Audits.
• Strong SAP FICO / HANA expertise with manufacturing background.
• GST filings, GST audits, TDS filings, Income Tax Returns & filings and other statutory aspects.
• Preparation of periodic MIS reporting and Budget / Forecasting exercise.
• 10+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in finance for a company with 100Cr+ turnover.
• Experience leading financial, administrative, and compliance management in a US <> India corporate structure.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial and secretarial requirements.
• Ensure 100% compliance with various financial, legal and corporate requirements across multiple countries.
• Own the annual budgets, financial targets and hold teams accountable to meet them.
• Build, deploy and improve systems and controls for spending, capital allocation, forecasting and budgeting.
• Oversee legal contracts and coordinate with lawyers for redlines and negotiations with customers & suppliers.
• Manage and optimise direct and indirect taxation.
• Identify revenue and EBITDA enhancement opportunities.
• Serve as SPOC for investor Qs, audits and due diligence.

Job description

You will manage the complete finance and administration of the company. You will supervise all other finance staff, work closely with the CXOs & and will be a part of the Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of company's financial, secretarial requirements.
• Take ownership and responsibility of 100% compliance with various financial, legal and corporate requirements across multiple countries.
• Be the owner of our annual budgets, financial targets and hold teams accountable to meet them.
• Build, deploy and improve systems & control for spending, capital allocation, forecasting, annual budgeting.
• Overlook legal contracts, co-ordinate with lawyers for our redline and represent the company in legal negotiation with potential customers & suppliers.
• Manage and optimise direct and indirect taxation.
• Identifying revenue and EBITDA enhancement opportunities
• Be the SPOC for replying to Qs, audits and due diligence requirements from investors.

Must-have requirements:

Looking for an experienced Finance Professional who can independently handle the below activities:

• Independent preparation of Financial Statements under IndAS and handling Financial and IFCoR Audits
• Should be very strong in SAP FICO / HANA module interms of all the aspects and with a manufacturing background.
• Should have strong experience in GST filings, GST audit, TDS filings, Income Tax Returns & filings and other statutory aspects.
• Preparation of periodic MIS reporting and Budget / Forecasting exercise.
• 7+ years of demonstrated successful experience as a leader/manager of the finance function @ a company with 100Cr+ turnover
• Experience leading financial, administrative, and compliance management in a US <> India corporate structure
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.

• Ability to represent before Board of Directors, Handling queries from the Management, etc.
• Costing and Company Secretary related aspect
