Job summary

Sunder Ispat Ltd is seeking a Finance professional to own accounting, compliance and reporting for a growing steel manufacturer, collaborating with management on numbers that drive decisions, not merely closing books.

The role handles GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory filings, prepares financial statements and MIS packs, and cooperates with auditors to close observations. Freshers and ICAI Chartered Accountants with GST knowledge are welcome.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with GST, TDS and direct tax knowledge.
• Strong fundamentals in accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proactive and ownership mindset with deadline-driven delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings within deadlines.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports and monthly management packs.
• Coordinate with auditors and close audit observations.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, banking and reconciliations.
• Track costing, inventory valuation and margin analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Support budgeting and cash-flow planning.

Experience: 0–3 years (freshers and qualified CAs with experience both welcome)

Reports to: Head of Finance / Director

About the role

You will own the accounting, compliance and reporting function for a growing steel manufacturing business — working directly with management on numbers that drive decisions, not just closing books.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other regulatory filings within deadlines.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports and monthly management reporting packs.
• Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors and close audit observations.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and reconciliations.
• Track costing, inventory valuation and margin analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Review accounting processes, strengthen internal controls and reduce manual work.
• Support management with financial analysis, budgeting and cash-flow planning.

What we are looking for

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI).
• Strong grounding in accounting standards, GST, TDS and direct tax.
• Working knowledge of Tally and/or SAP, plus advanced MS Excel.
• Manufacturing or industrial sector exposure is an advantage (not mandatory for freshers).
• Sharp analytical thinking, clear communication and ownership of deadlines.
