Job summary

ABB in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced IS Sourcing professional to lead end-to-end sourcing, negotiate with global IT suppliers, and define strategies across software, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and IT services.

You will drive RFQs/RFPs, manage contracts from requirement to contract, ensure governance, and partner with legal, tax, and finance teams. Fluency in English required; exposure to US/AMC markets is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IS Sourcing/ IM&S.
• Strong understanding of contracting processes, procurement governance, and key IS sourcing categories (software, cloud, SaaS, Cyber Security, infrastructure, hardware, telecom and IT services).
• Must have knowledge of IS, Legal, Tax, Cyber Security, Data Privacy, Finance, AI.
• Demonstrated success in commercial and contractual negotiations with large global IT suppliers and service providers.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding cost savings through sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); Spanish or other languages are considered an advantage.
• Experience working within US and AMC markets is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IS Sourcing activities for assigned requests, ensuring alignment with business needs and sourcing policies.
• Define and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies across multiple IS categories: (IT Services, Software & SaaS, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Hardware, Telecommunications and Print Services)
• Manage sourcing events from requirement through to contract finalization (Requirement to Contract)
• Lead commercial and legal negotiations for IS sourcing contracts typically ranging from $25K to $500K.
• Execute RFQs/RFPs and negotiate contracts
