ABB IS is seeking an experienced Information Systems Project Manager based in Bangalore, India. The role focuses on planning, delivering and controlling IS projects within time, scope and quality, with a strong emphasis on procurement and logistics.

You will define project documents, forecast risks, monitor finances and communicate effectively with stakeholders to align expectations and ensure successful outcomes. Onsite/hybrid work model applies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT project management.

• Experience with SAP and/or procurement.

Responsibilities

Join us and help run what runs the world.This Position reports to:IS Service Owner-Procurement & LogisticsYour role and responsibilities:In this role, you will have the opportunity to define a planning strategy that includes a full list of activities that are important for the management of project, to decide on a project delivery methodology (waterfall, agile, etc.), and to align with stakeholders. Each day, you will plan, schedule, coordinate, and deliver the Information Systems (IS) project outcomes within agreed time, scope, cost, and agreed quality. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating appropriate information to stakeholders promptly to achieve desired understanding and support and effectively managing stakeholders' expectations and relationships.The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid #Linkedin.This role is contributing to business IS Services globally, based in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:Defining all project documents (jointly with key stakeholders) including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.Using knowledge and experience to forecast contingencies at the initial stages of the project, assessing the availability of information and the risks and issues that may arise during the project and deciding on the best approach to proceed.Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.Executing IS project communications and reporting IS project performance against the plan and expected business outcome.Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)10+ years of cumulative working experience with 5+ years of experience in IS Project ManagementExperience with SAP and/or procurement is desiredPMP or other Project management certification is a plusA bachelor’s degree or higher in Information system, engineer, finance, business management or equivalent program is requiredExperience with complex IT environment is desiredProficient in written and spoken EnglishMore about us (Mandatory)Our mission in ABB IS (Information Systems) is to harness the power of information technology to deliver valuable, reliable, and competitive IS services for ABB.
