Job summary

ABB Bengaluru is seeking an IS Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing across IT services, software and SaaS, cyber security, infrastructure, hardware, telecom, and related print services. You will manage RFQs/RFPs from requirement to contract, lead commercial negotiations with global IT suppliers, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance with ABB processes and governance.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus, and experience with US and AMC markets

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IS Sourcing/IM&S experience.
• Strong contracting and procurement governance knowledge.
• Experience with IT categories: software, cloud, SaaS, Cyber Security, infra, IT services.
• Knowledge of IS, Legal, Tax, Cyber Security, Data Privacy, Finance, AI.
• Proven negotiation results with large global IT suppliers.
• Fluent English; other languages advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in SCM, BE/BTech IT, or related field.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and legal negotiations for IS sourcing contracts typically ranging from $25K to $500K.
• Execute RFQs/RFPs and negotiate contracts.

This Position reports to: Category Manager

Job Description Summary

Ensures the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the business(es). Executes assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end IS Sourcing activities for assigned requests, ensuring alignment with business needs and sourcing policies.
• Define and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies across multiple IS categories: (IT Services, Software & SaaS, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Hardware, Telecommunications and Print Services)
• Manage sourcing events from requirement through to contract finalization (Requirement to Contract)
• Lead commercial and legal negotiations for IS sourcing contracts typically ranging from $25K to $500K.
• Execute RFQs/RFPs and negotiate contracts

Qualifications for the role :

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IS Sourcing/ Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S).
• Strong understanding of contracting processes, procurement governance, and key IS sourcing categories (software, cloud, SaaS, Cyber Security, infrastructure, thardware, telecom and IT services).
• Must have knowledge of IS, Legal, Tax, Cyber Security, Data Privacy, Finance, AI.
• Demonstrated success in commercial and contractual negotiations with large global IT suppliers and service providers.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding cost savings through sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); Spanish or other languages are considered an advantage.
• Experience working within US and AMC markets is highly desirable.
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, BE/BTech IT, or related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
