Job summary

ABB India, Smart Power, Bangalore, is seeking an organized professional to lead end-to-end inventory planning. You will manage imports/exports, set inventory targets, and ensure timely replenishment via purchase orders, using SAP ERP analytics and ABC/XYZ methods.

You will also prepare planning reports for leadership and drive metrics such as SOTD, lead time, and inventory turnover, contributing to efficient production and customer service.

• Experience in material planning with skills in S&OP, purchasing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end planning of inventory from requisition to customer invoicing.
• Support internal customer service inquiries and set inventory parameters.
• Ensure adequate replenishment via purchase orders and monitor backlogs.
• Manage import/export logistics operations and material flow.
• Maintain inventory parameters in SAP using ABC/XYZ analysis.
• Prepare regular planning and fulfilment reports for leaders.
• Aim for targets like SOTD, Lead Time, DIH, and Inventory Turn Ratio.
