Job summary

Anaqua is seeking a highly motivated Docketing expert with Patent and Trademark knowledge to support our growth in IP management solutions. You will manage patent docketing for US and non-US jurisdictions, ensure accurate bibliographic data, and keep reminders up-to-date for paralegals and attorneys.

Responsibilities include auditing documents, handling SOPs, and liaising with clients as needed. Strong English communication and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role

Qualifications

• 1.8–7 years of experience in the role.
• Knowledge of filing and prosecution practices (USPTO, PCT, EP, JP, CN).
• Experience with Anaqua/Pattsy Wave is a plus.
• Prioritization and multitasking to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage patent docketing for US and non-US jurisdictions.
• Update docket deadlines, upload and link documents in IPMS.
• Ensure bibliographic data is accurate and reminders are generated.
• Extract key information from client data and input per instructions.
• Perform quality audits on documents per SOP and client requirements.
• Conduct internal quality audits for US and non-US jurisdictions.
• Review patent prosecution documents received via shared mailbox.
• Process work per client work instructions and requirements.
• Escalate docketing queries to manager or client as needed.

Position Overview:

Anaqua is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Docketing expert with Patent & Trademark knowledge who is eager to help us to attain our continuing growth goals.

• Responsible for all aspects of Patent docketing for both US and Non-US jurisdiction
• Docket & De-Docket deadlines in IPMS along with uploading & linking of relevant documents in the respective matter
• Ensuring correct bibliographic information is updated, generating correct reminders so that the paralegals/attorneys are timely informed about actions due
• Identify key information in the client provided data; as per client s instructions, enter it in the IPMS correctly
• Perform Quality Audits on the allocated documents as per client requirements within the allocated time
• Responsible for all aspects of Patent internal quality audit for US and Non-US Jurisdictions
• Review patent prosecution related documents (US & Non-US) received via shared mailbox as per the standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Process allocated work as per client requirements and as per work instructions
• Report and describe docketing related queries to manager or client (if needed)

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Minimum 1.8 - 7 years of experience in the related role
• Knowledge of filing and prosecution practices in the USPTO, PCT, EP, JP, CN and other major jurisdictions
• Prior experience of working on Anaqua/Pattsy Wave platform would be an added advantage
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task to perform role smoothly without missing deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
