Role Summary

Own the solutions we provide and act as a trusted technical advisor. As a Senior IoT Solutions Engineer at TrackSo, you will consult on IoT solutions, design integration architectures, support sales with technical input, guide implementations, and create detailed documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a go-to technical expert for customers and the sales team: answer in-depth technical questions about hardware (data loggers, sensors, accessories), platforms, security, and integration capabilities.
• Design IoT solutions and architectures: select and integrate gateways, sensors, and protocol converters; specify hardware/software stacks.
• Evaluate emerging IoT technologies, sensors, and gateways; propose protocol and integration improvements.
• Create detailed documentation of existing and new products (IoT gateways, sensors, converters), including diagrams and architecture visualizations.
• Mentor and enable team members with solution knowledge and training.
• Collaborate across multiple teams—Sales, Support, Product, R&D—to ensure cohesive solution delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent (mandatory).
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a technical role (solutions engineering, technical consulting, embedded/IoT systems).
• Deep knowledge of IoT systems: gateways, sensors, converters, firmware, and hardware.
• Extensive expertise in communication protocols (industrial and application layer) such as Modbus, RS485, TCP/IP, MQTT, etc.
• Advanced hardware integration capabilities: sensor/gateway selection, sensor interface design, protocol converter design.
• Excellent technical documentation and visualization skills (creating diagrams, architecture drawings, product specification documents).
• Domain knowledge in energy systems (solar PV, thermal, O&M) is a strong advantage.
