We are seeking a Site Engineer who will be responsible for field-level execution of data logger installation, configuration, and troubleshooting at customer sites. This role involves close coordination with the in-house tech support team to ensure smooth deployment of TrackSo’s monitoring solutions. You’ll travel frequently across the region (and occasionally pan-India) to visit solar plants and other facilities.
Visit client sites to install, configure, and troubleshoot data loggers and sensors.
Coordinate remotely with the technical support team for device setup and live testing.
Ensure successful commissioning and reporting of the installed devices.
Maintain installation quality standards and ensure documentation is completed.
Provide basic on-site training to customer personnel when required.
Follow safety and operational procedures during field visits.
Record and escape any technical issues encountered during site visits.
Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
0–2 years of field experience in electrical/IoT/Solar industry (freshers can also apply).
Basic understanding of data loggers, sensors, and communication protocols (RS485, Modbus, TCP/IP) is a plus
Comfortable using tools and basic electrical instruments.
Willingness to travel (50% or more of the time).
Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with remote teams.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in the field.
Previous experience in solar or energy monitoring projects.
Understanding of cloud-based monitoring systems.
Familiarity with basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, SIM-based communication).
