Job summary

Black Turtle is seeking an Investor Reporting Specialist to support real estate private equity funds. You will handle quarterly and performance reporting, validate audits, and manage investor inquiries.

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential for accurate MOIC/IRR calculations and data reconciliation. Ideal candidates possess 6–8 years total experience with 3–4 years in financial/reporting roles, and excellent written/spoken English for global communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of private equity real estate funds operations and quarterly reporting deliverables.
• Review customized investor reporting templates for all Real Estate funds ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Review quarterly investor reports and performance summaries.
• Review audits, confirm reports and handle auditor inquiries.
• Review management fee calculations and investor memo.
• Review Salesforce tickets for investor requests.
• Calculate IRR, time-weighted return and leverage ratio for Real Estate funds.
• Handle LP mailbox and investor queries daily.
• Onboard investors to a fund/investment platform and update Salesforce accordingly.
• Assist in ad-hoc requests and SOP documentation.
• Drive process improvements and identify automation needs.
• Train new and existing Investor Reporting Specialists.

• Develop a good understanding of real estate private equity funds operations, quarterly reporting deliverables, financial systems/applications and the reporting source data.
• Review customized Investor reporting templates for all Real Estate funds, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Review Quarterly Investor Reports and Performance Summaries.
• Review audits confirm reports and handling auditor inquiries
• Review Management Fee calculations/ Investor memo.
• Review Salesforce tickets for tracking investor requests.
• Review IRR and Time Weighted Return and Leverage Ratio calculation for Real Estate funds.
• Handling LP Mailbox and investor queries on daily basis
• Onboarding Investors to a fund or Investment platform and manage/update salesforce for onboarding
• Handing ad-hoc requests.
• Participate in the process documentation efforts and creation of SOPs.
• Responsible for suggesting and driving process improvements.
• Identify process gaps and automation requirements; serve as a critical driver of transformation
• Responsible for the training of new and current Investor Reporting Specialists.
• Responsible for cascading / providing training on new updates to all team members.

Address and ensure resolution on all process related queries of the team members.

• Candidates experience of 6 to 8years must have 3-4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, performance reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)
• 0The ability to effectively work as an individual contributor and possess strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, multitask and deliver under tight deadlines
• The profile involves effective communication across Clients facilities globally and hence possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills in verbal and written English is a must
• A desire to work in an international team environment, often under pressure and with multiple stakeholders
