Job summary

Om Jewels in Mumbai (Kandivali, West) is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to lead end-to-end inventory operations. The role requires overseeing stock for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, ensuring traceability, accuracy, and timely movements across production and dispatch teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5–15 years in Inventory and Warehouse Management, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with ERP software (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor stock across inventory operations.
• Maintain accurate records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Track inventory movement and ensure proper stock levels.
• Ensure batch/lot-wise, size-wise, colour-wise, and SKU-wise traceability.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Sales, and Dispatch teams.
• Perform regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare MIS and periodic inventory reports for management.
• Lead and guide store/inventory staff.

Job description: We are looking for a seasoned Inventory Specialist to build, lead and manage end-to-end inventory operations within the manufacturing industry. The inventory specialist partners with production, sales, warehouse, and dispatch teams to ensure accurate and timely operations. This position maximizes inventory performance ensures accuracy, traceability, optimal stock holding, accountability, and implementation of inventory control systems to track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor stock of inventory operations in Software.
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Ensure proper movement of inventory by tracking raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Ensure batch/lot-wise, size-wise, colour-wise, and SKU-wise traceability across the full inventory lifecycle.
• Monitor stock levels and establish guidelines for purchase/ replenishment requirements.
• Perform regular physical stock checks and reconciliation.
• Prepare a list of slow-moving, excess, and damaged inventory.
• Establish FEFO/FIFO practices wherever applicable.
• Strong coordination with Purchase, Accounts, Sales, and Dispatch teams.
• Maintain proper documentation, stock registers, and inventory reports.
• Track stock inventory and minimize inventory wastage.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and take corrective action for stock reconciliation.
• Prepare MIS and periodic inventory reports for the management.
• Manage and guide store/inventory staff.

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; relevant qualifications in Inventory Management, and Logistics is preferred.
• 5 10 years of relevant inventory/store management experience.
• Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel.
• Hands-on, expert-level experience with inventory/ERP software.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, or FMCG is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, batch tracking, and stock audits.
• Good communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
