Job summary

Instawork is seeking an Inventory Manager for high-value devices, with ownership of end-to-end custody, tracking and reconciliation. You will manage iPhones and related accessories, enforce serial-number level tracking, and ensure complete documentation with zero tolerance for mismatches.

All movements must be logged in manual registers and Google Sheets, with daily reconciliation and strict access control.

Responsibilities

Inventory Manager – High Value Devices

Function: Operations – Asset & Inventory Control
Inventory Type: High-Value Electronic Assets

Work Mode: On-site

Shifts: 6 am to 4 pm & 4 pm to 2 am

Role Overview

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for end‑to‑end custody, tracking, and reconciliation of high‑value inventory, primarily iPhones and related accessories such as SD cards and card readers. This role requires strict control, zero tolerance for mismatches, and complete documentation discipline. No inventory movement is allowed without entries, and physical stock must always tally with records.

Key Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of high‑value devices and accessories.
• Ensure serial‑number level tracking for all devices.
• Maintain zero loss and zero undocumented movement.
• Receive devices and accessories from the IT team and verify:
  • Quantity
  • Serial numbers
  • Physical condition
• Record all inward movements immediately in manual registers and Google Sheets.
• Escalate any mismatch, damage, or discrepancy without delay.
• Handle outward inventory management between Inventory and Field Ops:
  • Hand over inventory to Field Ops and receive it back.
  • Ensure no item goes out without a prior entry.
  • Record item name, serial number, Field Ops name/ID, date and time of handover.
  • Avoid verbal or informal handovers.
  • Re‑verify serial numbers and condition on return and update entries the same day.
  • Perform daily reconciliation between physical stock, Google Sheets, and Field Ops records.
  • Track overdue or missing items and follow up proactively.
• Maintain clean, structured Google Sheets trackers.
• Ensure inventory area access is controlled.
• Support audits and internal checks as required.
• Maintain high compliance standards for asset handling.
