Job summary

Unmanned Autonomy in Bengaluru is seeking an inventory and materials coordinator to support procurement and production activities. You will receive materials, verify details, maintain storages, and ensure accurate records across ERP systems.

You will perform cycle counts, stock valuations, and ensure traceability of serialized components, while coordinating with Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams to uphold compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, specifications, serial numbers, and physical condition.
• Coordinate incoming material inspection with Quality, Engineering, and Procurement teams.
• Record material receipts and generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
• Label, classify, and store items in designated locations.
• Maintain appropriate storage conditions for electronic, mechanical, hazardous, and sensitive materials.
• Implement FIFO, FEFO, batch, lot, and serial-number-based inventory control as applicable.
• Maintain ESD-safe storage for electronic components and controlled storage for batteries, chemicals, adhesives, and composite materials.
• Issue materials only against approved material requisitions, work orders, or bills of materials.
• Track materials issued to employees, projects, production batches, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Manage return-to-store, rejected, damaged, excess, and unused materials.
• Maintain minimum, maximum, reorder, and safety-stock levels.
• Monitor stock availability and alert Procurement and Production teams about shortages.
• Conduct cycle counts, monthly stock verification, and annual physical audits.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP, inventory software, or approved spreadsheets.
• Manage inventory of tools, test equipment, jigs, fixtures, development boards, and company assets.
• Track tool issuance, return, calibration status, damage, and loss.
• Maintain traceability of serialized and mission-critical components.
• Prepare materials and kits according to BOMs and production schedules.
• Support prototype builds, production assembly, repairs, maintenance, and field operations.
• Coordinate packing, dispatch, courier, transport, and shipment documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification, stock valuation, and audit documentation.
• Maintain records of scrap, rejected materials, and disposal approvals.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable statutory regulations.
• Maintain store cleanliness, access control, fire safety, and material-handling discipline.
