Job summary

Swift Cargo is seeking a detail-oriented shipping documents executive to handle the preparation of pre and post shipping documents, including proforma invoices and draft Bills of Lading, and to ensure invoice details are accurately updated in the system.

You will liaise with customers for Shipping Bill and Shipping Instruction filling, prepare cargo and freight manifests, and manage regulatory filings such as ODEX, SI submissions, and ICE GATE for imports.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of pre and post shipping documents are made like proforma invoice, Draft Bill of Lading as per LC and non-LC terms etc.
• All the details pertaining the invoice should be updated in the system.
• Liaison with the customers for Shipping Bill & Shipping Instruction filling.
• Prepare cargo & freight manifest
• ODEX filing & SI Submission in Export.
• ICE GATE filing in Import.
• Co-ordination with operations team, customer service, liners forwarding agencies and CHA for stuffing reports and other documents must be done.
• Follow up with Liners for payment release.
• Examining checklist, bill of lading and needs to be maintained.

• Liaison with the customers for Shipping Bill & Shipping Instruction filling.
• Prepare cargo & freight manifest
• ODEX filing & SI Submission in Export.
• ICE GATE filing in Import.

Co-ordination with other departments for smooth functioning

• Co-ordination with operations team, customer service, liners forwarding agencies and CHA for stuffing reports and other documents must be done.
• Follow up with Liners for payment release.

Scrutinizing Import/Export Documents

• Examining checklist, bill of lading and needs to be maintained.

Maintain export related files of the organization.
