Eye Gear in Chennai is seeking an Audit Executive to conduct physical inventories and analyze stock data to improve stock management.

Responsibilities include store appearance, stock reconciliation, opening/closing checks, and loss-prevention initiatives, with collaboration across teams. Candidate should have 3–10 years in auditing, preferably in optical retail, and be adept with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in auditing, preferably in optical retail.
• Strong knowledge of physical inventory management, stock control and valuation.
• Experience with process audits and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Analyze data from ERP systems to identify stock trends and improvements.
• Perform counter-to-counter audits across stock, cash, assets, and grooming.
• Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve stock discrepancies and damages.
• Ensure store cleanliness and proper display of frames/sunglasses.
• Manage opening and closing checklist including staff attendance and order tracking.

Audit Executive - JD

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Analyze data from various sources (e.g., ERP systems) to identify trends and areas for improvement in stock management processes.
• Counter-to-counter Audits, irrespective of all the parameters like stock, cash, Assets, and grooming, etc.
• Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and optimize store operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to stock discrepancies, damages, or other operational concerns.

1. Store Appearance & Hygiene

• Store cleanliness
• Display arrangement of frames/sunglasses
• Dust-free lenses and mirrors
• Lighting condition
• Staff grooming and uniform compliance

2. Physical stock vs system stock

• Frame inventory accuracy

Job Requirements :
