• 2–5 years of interior project management or site execution experience.
• Strong understanding of residential and commercial interior execution processes.
• Knowledge of civil work, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, ceilings, painting, furniture installation, and finishing.
• Ability to read interior design drawings, floor plans, elevations, and working drawings.
• Experience in vendor management, labour coordination, material procurement, and site supervision.
• Understanding of BOQs, project costing, budgeting, and timeline management.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site teams, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• MS Excel proficiency; AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Pune.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute residential and commercial interior design projects from start to finish.
• Prepare project schedules, execution plans, work timelines, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with designers, site supervisors, contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other vendors.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure work progresses per drawings and specs.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, furniture, and fittings.
• Track budgets, expenses, labour costs, and material consumption to minimise costs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and workmanship.
• Identify delays, resolve on-site issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with clients for progress updates and expectations management.
• Ensure drawings, measurements, material specs, and design details are communicated to execution team.
• Maintain project documentation: schedules, BOQs, purchase records, site reports, handover checklists.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Conduct final inspections, prepare snag lists, and coordinate rectification before handover.

Job Description

Modern Habitat Interior Group is looking for an experienced and organised Project Manager to oversee interior design projects from planning and coordination to execution and final handover.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in interior project execution, site management, vendor coordination, material procurement, team management, and client communication. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed within the approved budget, timeline, and quality standards.

We are looking for someone who understands the practical aspects of interior execution and can effectively coordinate between designers, contractors, vendors, site teams, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute residential and commercial interior design projects from start to completion.
• Prepare project schedules, execution plans, work timelines, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with interior designers, site supervisors, contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other vendors.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure work is progressing according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, furniture, fittings, and other project requirements.
• Track project budgets, expenses, labour costs, and material consumption to minimise unnecessary expenditure.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and ensure proper workmanship.
• Identify project delays, resolve on-site issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with clients to provide progress updates, discuss requirements, and manage expectations.
• Ensure drawings, measurements, material specifications, and design details are communicated accurately to the execution team.
• Maintain project documentation, including work schedules, BOQs, purchase records, site reports, and handover checklists.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Conduct final inspections, prepare snag lists, and coordinate rectification work before project handover.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior project management or site execution.
• Strong understanding of residential and commercial interior execution processes.
• Knowledge of civil work, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, false ceilings, painting, furniture installation, and finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret interior design drawings, floor plans, elevations, and working drawings.
• Experience in vendor management, labour coordination, material procurement, and site supervision.
• Understanding of BOQs, project costing, budgeting, and timeline management.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site teams, handle multiple tasks, and work under deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and project tracking tools; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Pune as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with hands-on experience in interior design companies, turnkey interior projects, residential projects, or commercial fit-outs will be preferred.
• Should be comfortable managing site execution rather than handling only administrative responsibilities.
• Must be capable of coordinating with clients, designers, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Should have strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve site-level challenges independently.
• Must be willing to work on-site and travel between project locations.
