Job summary

Lodha in Worli, Mumbai seeks a Civil/Interior engineer to support the Construction Manager in achieving finishing works for premium residential and commercial projects. You will help prepare execution strategies and coordinate with planning and procurement to ensure timely delivery.

You will monitor safety, quality, and productivity on site, review drawings, manage manpower, and maintain NCR records. 4–8 years of experience and BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Civil/Interior Designing required.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Interior Designing required.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in interior/civil works for premium projects.
• Experience in luxury residential/hotel interiors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand project goals and assist Construction Manager in developing on-site execution strategy for finishing works.
• Oversee interior and civil works for sample flats, offices, club houses, lobbies, and infrastructure developments.
• Plan quarterly/monthly schedules with planning team and ensure stakeholders understand and follow the plan.
• Allocate tasks with clear responsibilities to internal teams and coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity on site; prepare method statements and checklists; review NCRs and take corrective actions.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Understand project goals and helps Construction Manager in preparation of project execution strategy from Finishing perspective.
• Responsible for interior & civil works for special projects like the sample flats/office, club houses, entrance lobby, infrastructure development and finishing works for residential/commercial projects.
• Understand yearly targets for works and assist planning team to prepare quarterly and monthly schedule plan and make sure that all stakeholders understand this plan.
• Allocate work with clear job responsibilities to internal team members.
• Raising work request and material request as per plan and coordinate with central procurement team for timely availability of vendors/materials.
• Prepare regular review of drawings requirements, manpower requirements, safety and quality assessment to identify critical points which may affect progress , quality and safety.
• Advise Construction Manager regarding critical deficiency of contractors and associated risks and suggest corrective measures.
• Keep joint records for all critical works, abortive works and prepare debit / credit notes regularly • Raise CRNs in timely manner & ensure completion of works.
• Make sure that safety procedures are followed on site without exceptions and ensure there are no accidents at site.
• Interactions with internal team such as Civil Execution, MEP, Stores, Procurement, Horticulture, Quality, Safety, Design, Planning & external Consultant, Vendors, Contractors and Sub contractors
• Control the wastages at site and implement measures to minimise it.
• Check and confirm that all processes are allied to billing department.
• Cost Analysis & productivity analysis to be done and well implemented at site.
• Ensure Quality inspections are done by CM team and maintain strict quality control in all work activities, prepare method statements and checklists and make sure same is followed strictly on site.
• Analyze each NCR in detail and take corrective actions immediately.
• Provide support to prepare logistic plan and implement the same on site.
• Worked on Sample flats, Club house, Lobby, Bungalows or Villas.

Skills & competencies

• Good exposure to residential/hotel interior or luxury projects.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Should be open minded, ability to work with dynamic teams, respect ideas, opinions of others and should have positive attitude.
• Keep him updated about the construction related technological advances

Educational Qualification & Work Experience: BE/B.Tech / Diploma Civil or Diploma in Interior Designing 4-8 years of experiece
