Job summary

Studio Inside Out in Vadodara invites an Interior Designer to join full-time, on-site at the studio. You will develop design concepts, space plans, and detailed drawings, coordinating with architects and contractors to realize project intents.

Responsibilities include selecting finishes and FF&E, producing construction documentation, and presenting concepts to clients while balancing functionality, aesthetics, and budget.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design.
• Foundational knowledge of Architecture and coordination with architectural teams.
• Experience preparing Construction Drawings and documentation for execution by contractors.
• Skills in FF&E selection including finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories aligned with project concepts.
• Strong visualization and presentation abilities with CAD, 3D modeling, and design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Effective communication and collaboration on-site with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture; prior studio or site experience is an advantage.

Role Description

The Interior Designer will work full time on-site at Studio Inside Out's Vadodara studio. In this role, the Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare space plans, and translate ideas into detailed drawings and presentations. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with architects and contractors, selecting finishes and FF&E, preparing construction documentation, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution. The role also involves site visits, client meetings, and collaboration with the project team to deliver designs that balance functionality, aesthetics, and budget.
