Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Interior Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and creating detailed drawings and presentations for residential and commercial projects. Day‑to‑day tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and ensuring designs align with client requirements and project budgets. The role involves working closely with architects, contractors, and vendors, conducting site visits, and monitoring project progress to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. The Interior Designer will also support client meetings, contribute to design documentation, and assist in maintaining project timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetically appealing layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and support accurate implementation on‑site.
• Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment, with attention to durability, cost, and design coherence.
• Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D visualization tools) and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients, contractors, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in India, particularly in Ahmedabad or similar markets, is an advantage.
