Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Vadodara. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, create detailed layout plans, and prepare mood boards and presentations aligned with client requirements and project budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selection of materials and finishes, coordination of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaboration with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of design intent. The role also involves preparing and reviewing construction drawings, conducting site visits for measurements and progress checks, and ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and sustainability guidelines. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, refine designs based on feedback, and maintain organized project documentation throughout the design and implementation process.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design skills with the ability to develop creative, functional concepts and translate them into detailed design solutions.


• Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts for residential, commercial, or mixed-use environments.


• Understanding of Architecture and building systems to coordinate seamlessly with structural and MEP teams.


• Ability to produce and interpret Construction Drawings to guide contractors and vendors accurately.


• Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with project aesthetics and budgets.


• Comfort with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.


• Strong visual communication, detailing, and documentation skills, with attention to quality and accuracy.


• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.


• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and clients.


• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and local building codes; prior experience in studio or firm-based interior projects is an advantage.
