Job summary

Inchtape is seeking an Interior Designer to lead the design process from initial client conversations to production-ready drawings. You will collaborate with client-facing and site teams to ensure the design translates effectively into the final build.

The role involves developing concepts, mood boards, 2D/3D visuals, BOQs, and coordinating with procurement to feasibility. Freshers with strong portfolios are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Freshers welcome with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools (3ds Max/V-Ray, Enscape).
• Working knowledge of BOQ preparation and material costing.
• Portfolio showing range across residential/commercial spaces.
• Strong client-facing communication to explain design decisions.
• Able to work to project timelines, not just design timelines.

Responsibilities

• Gather client requirements and space briefs; understand budget and functional needs.

• Prepare production drawings and BOQs, working within the standard timeline.
• Coordinate with procurement on material availability and cost feasibility.

• Support design feasibility checks and site readiness reviews during project estimation.
• Make revisions based on client and site feedback through to handover.
