Job summary

RIMS FURNITECH PVT LTD in New Delhi designs customized furniture based on client requirements and project specifications. The role involves creating 2D layouts, elevations, and detailed working drawings, and developing concepts considering space, functionality and aesthetics.

Designs are produced using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D software, with collaboration across clients, production teams, and carpenters to ensure accurate execution and manufacturing readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design customized furniture per client requirements and project specifications.
• Prepare 2D layouts, furniture drawings, elevations, and detailed working drawings.
• Develop furniture concepts based on space, functionality, dimensions, and aesthetics.
• Create and modify designs using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D software, or similar tools.
• Coordinate with clients, production, carpenters, and project teams for design execution.
• Select materials, finishes, hardware, fabrics, and other furniture components.
• Take site measurements and prepare designs according to actual site conditions.
• Ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing and installation.
• Prepare material specifications and assist in estimating furniture requirements.
• Make design modifications based on client feedback.
• Coordinate with production team to ensure the final product matches the approved design.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and project specifications.
