Job summary

Homelane in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced interior designer to meet clients, understand lifestyle, space requirements, and budgets, and develop functional home interiors.

You will create 2D layouts and 3D visualizations, present concepts, coordinate with sales and execution teams, and ensure designs meet safety and quality standards while maintaining schedules.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, space requirements, budget, and design preferences.
• Create innovative interior concepts for residential spaces, including modular kitchens and living areas.
• Prepare 2D layouts, mood boards, space planning, and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD/SketchUp/3ds Max.
• Present design ideas, material selections, color themes, and furniture concepts to clients.
• Coordinate with the sales team and convert client requirements into practical design solutions.
• Suggest materials, finishes, lighting, décor elements, and storage solutions based on client needs and project budgets.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, design validation, and execution follow-ups.
• Work closely with project managers, vendors, carpenters, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards, functionality, safety, and quality requirements.
• Revise designs based on client feedback while maintaining timelines and feasibility.
• Prepare detailed drawings, BOQs, and execution documents for production and installation teams.
• Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and modular solutions.
• Maintain excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Support project handover and ensure final output matches approved designs and client expectations.
