Job summary

The Della Group is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to translate briefs into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces across commercial and residential projects.

You will collaborate with clients, architects, and vendors to develop concept designs, prepare technical drawings, select finishes, and oversee execution from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in interior designing with hands-on project experience.
• Strong coordination and vendor management skills.
• Experience with concept design, technical drawings, and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs that are functional, appealing and space-appropriate.
• Understand interiors range with conceptual and technical knowledge for quality execution.
• Research and prepare plans, diagrams for interior construction, finishes and lighting.
• Select materials and manage labour.
• Prepare bills of materials and quantities as designs are approved.
• Inspect and supervise work to meet quality, cost, and deadlines.
• Prepare weekly bar chart and monitor progress as planned.
• Manage and execute interior projects end-to-end.
• Produce sample mood boards.
• Plan and execute MEP works.
• Coordinate materials flow with purchases and vendors.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Developing designs according to a brief that are functional, appealing and appropriate for the space.
2. Should have conceptual and technical understanding on range of Interiors design works which are important and essential for a quality execution of interiors.
3. Researching and preparing plans, diagrams or sketches for interior construction, materials, finishes, lighting, and finishing.
4. Selecting materials and labor.
5. Bills of materials and quantity to be made as per the designs approved.
6. Responsible for costing and budget of the project.
7. Inspecting and supervising the work, to ensure that quality, costs, and deadlines are met.
8. Preparation of weekly bar chart and supervision of the work progress as planned.
9. Should be able to manage and execute the interior projects.
10. Produce sample and mood products board.
11. Planning and execution of MEP works.
12. To set schedule for flow of requisite materials in consultation with purchase team and vendors to ensure timely completion of work.

Job Expectations:

PREREQUISITES: Should be qualified in interior designing, well versed with co-ordination, technical drawings, concept design, design reviews, milestones follow up on projects deliverable & vendor management.

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma/Degree from a reputed institute.

Minimum Job Experience:

Work experience of 2-3 years and above.
