Job summary

Sycomp is seeking an Integration Center Engineer to join our Bangalore Integration Center. The role focuses on hands-on hardware handling, deployment, integration, asset management, and end-to-end infrastructure operations for global customers.

Responsibilities include configuring and imaging devices, server/storage/networking integration, and supporting deployments both in the Center and on customer sites.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with physical IT hardware and deployment operations.
• Troubleshooting laptop, desktop, workstation, or server hardware.
• Experience with OS installation, imaging, deployment, and hardware diagnostics.
• Knowledge of desktop/server components, storage, and networking basics.
• Asset lifecycle management, inventory control, and device deployment experience.
• Familiarity with Intune, SCCM, Autopilot and AD is desirable.
• Experience in Integration Centers, deployment environments, data centers or field roles is preferred.
• Comfort with lifting hardware and supporting field deployment activities.
• Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, documentation, and communication skills.

• Support deployments at customer sites when required.

About the Role

Sycomp is seeking an Integration Center Engineer to join our Bangalore Integration Center and support enterprise deployment, integration, asset management, and infrastructure operations for global customers. This is a highly hands-on technical role focused on physical hardware handling, device deployment, troubleshooting, integration, testing, and customer implementation activities.

Successful candidates will work directly with laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, cabling infrastructure, and customer hardware platforms. The role combines Integration Center operations and customer deployment activities, supporting the full lifecycle of enterprise technology solutions from hardware preparation and configuration through testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, image, deploy, test, troubleshoot, and support laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, and end-user devices.
• Perform physical hardware diagnostics, repairs, component replacement, upgrades, and validation activities.
• Support asset lifecycle management including onboarding, offboarding, inventory control, device recovery, redeployment, and asset tracking.
• Install and update operating systems, drivers, firmware, security updates, and customer-specific software packages.
• Assemble, install, and integrate servers, storage systems, networking devices, and related infrastructure components.
• Perform rack and stack activities, structured cabling, hardware installation, and connectivity validation.
• Support basic networking activities including switch installations, patching, cable management, and infrastructure deployment.
• Execute quality assurance checks, diagnostics testing, documentation updates, and deployment validation activities.
• Follow customer-specific SOPs, deployment standards, and Integration Center operational procedures.
• Support customer implementation projects both inside the Integration Center and at customer locations when required.

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience supporting physical IT hardware, endpoint devices, server infrastructure, or deployment operations.
• Strong experience troubleshooting laptop, desktop, workstation, or server hardware.
• Experience with operating system installation, imaging, deployment, and hardware diagnostics.
• Knowledge of desktop components, server hardware, storage systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with asset lifecycle management, inventory control, and device deployment activities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, Active Directory, or endpoint management platforms is desirable.
• Experience working in Integration Centers, deployment environments, data centers, MSP environments, hardware service centers, or field engineering roles is highly preferred.
• Comfortable lifting hardware equipment, handling physical infrastructure, and supporting field deployment activities.
• Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, documentation, and communication skills.
