Job summary

Johnson Controls in India seeks a Deputy Manager - Projects to lead end-to-end execution of CFS and IBMS projects in the mechanical/electrical domain. You will plan, schedule, allocate resources, and coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams.

The role requires 8–12 years of project delivery experience, exposure to CFS/IBMS, and strong leadership and risk management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PMP/Project Management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution for CFS and IBMS projects.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, resource allocation and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams for smooth delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget, scope and timelines.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Review specifications, drawings, BOQs and technical documentation.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and company standards.
• Support billing, documentation and project closure activities.
• Manage customer relationships and resolve project-related issues effectively.

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager - Projects to lead and manage project execution activities in the CFS (Clean Fire Suppression Systems) and IBMS (Integrated Building Management Systems) domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in project planning, execution, installation, commissioning, stakeholder management, and ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Mandatory experience in CFS and/or IBMS industry.
• Experience in handling commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management.
