Job summary

Johnson Controls in Mumbai seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end Data Center projects with focus on Building Management Systems (BMS) and integrated building solutions. You will manage planning, installation, commissioning, stakeholder management and project closure, ensuring quality, safety, cost and schedule objectives across data center sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors, controlling budgets, and delivering projects on time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
• PMP/Project Management certification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of Data Center BMS projects from kick-off to handover.
• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and control activities.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of BMS, HVAC Controls, Electrical Monitoring Systems, CCTV, ACS, Fire Alarm & Life Safety Systems.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project KPIs and ensure timely delivery within contractual commitments.
• Conduct project review meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and company standards.
• Handle customer escalations and drive resolution.
• Support project documentation, billing milestones, and project closure activities.

Role Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, including planning, installation, commissioning, stakeholder management, and project closure while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, cost, and timeline objectives.

• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and multiple stakeholders.
