Job summary

Johnson Controls in India seeks an experienced Deputy Project Manager / Project Manager for CFS/IBMS projects. The role covers end-to-end execution, testing, commissioning, and delivery for large-scale IBMS deployments, with frequent collaboration across customers, consultants, contractors and internal teams.

Based in Mumbai for execution, the job requires travel to Surat and Maharashtra project sites, strong stakeholder leadership, and adherence to budgets, schedules, and JCI quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in execution and project management of IBMS/CFS projects.
• PMP candidate preferred; MS Project, Primavera.
• Hands-on expertise in IBMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV & Surveillance, PA, Building Automation Systems.
• Proven experience in Testing & Commissioning and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of IBMS/CFS projects.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Handle stakeholder communication and provide regular project status updates.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, project standards, and JCI quality guidelines.
• Support project documentation, risk management, and change management activities.
• Drive timely closure of project punch points and successful project sign-off.

Job Summary

The candidate should have hands‑on experience in project execution, testing, commissioning, and delivery of IBMS systems for large-scale projects. The role will be based in Mumbai and requires frequent travel to project sites in Surat and Maharashtra.

• Hands‑on expertise in:

• Proven experience in Testing & Commissioning and project delivery.

Preferred Profile

• Experience managing RIL/L&T/Adani projects from execution through commissioning.
• Familiarity with industry standards, project management practices, and customer-facing roles.
• Willingness to travel frequently to Surat and Maharashtra project sites.
