Job summary

Johnson Controls India is seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager / Project Manager with a strong IBMS/CFS background. The role is based in Mumbai with frequent travel to Surat and Maharashtra, overseeing testing, commissioning, and delivery of large IBMS projects.

You will lead planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination across multiple sites while ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
• 8–15 years of experience in IBMS/CFS project execution and management.
• PMP candidate preferred; MS Project knowledge and Primavera.
• Hands-on expertise in IBMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV/Surveillance, PA, and BMS.
• Proven experience in Testing & Commissioning and project delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project activities across locations.

• Lead end-to-end execution of IBMS/CFS projects.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Handle stakeholder communication and provide regular project status updates.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, project standards, and JCI quality guidelines.
• Support project documentation, risk management, and change management activities.
• Drive timely closure of project punch points and successful project sign-off.

The candidate should have hands‑on experience in project execution, testing, commissioning, and delivery of IBMS systems for large-scale projects. The role will be based in Mumbai and requires frequent travel to project sites in Surat and Maharashtra.

• Willingness to travel frequently to Surat and Maharashtra project sites.
