Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Ltd invites an Instrumentation Engineer (5-10 years) for water supply projects in Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan. You will lead instrumentation and automation works for WTPs, intakes, pump houses, and related schemes, with hands-on testing, commissioning, and maintenance responsibilities.

You will coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and civil teams, review drawings, ensure quality and safety, and document commissioning progress and diagnostics across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in water supply, WTP, intake works, or related infrastructure.
• Experience in instrumentation, automation, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise instrumentation and automation works for water supply and treatment projects.
• Installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of field instruments including flow meters, transmitters, level sensors.
• Commissioning and integration of PLC, SCADA, RTU, HMI, and telemetry systems.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and civil teams for project execution.
• Review instrumentation drawings, P&IDs, logic diagrams, datasheets, and specifications.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and automation system issues during execution and commissioning.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, commissioning reports, calibration records, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and authorities as required.

instrumentation Instrumentation Engineer - Water Supply Projects (5-10 Years Experience)

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Instrumentation Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in the execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of water infrastructure projects , including Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), Intake Works, Pump Houses, Raw Water Pumping Stations, Clear Water Pumping Stations, and associated Water Supply Schemes.

Project Location: Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise instrumentation and automation works for water supply and treatment projects.
• Installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of field instruments, including: Flow Meters Pressure Transmitters Level Sensors/Transmitters Water Quality Analyzers Control Valves and Actuators
• Commissioning and integration of PLC, SCADA, RTU, HMI, and Telemetry Systems .
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and civil teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review instrumentation drawings, P&IDs, logic diagrams, datasheets, and technical specifications.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project schedules.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and automation system issues during execution and commissioning.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, commissioning reports, calibration records, and project progress reports.

Qualification
