LR Energy is seeking a Sr Engineer – Instrumentation in Maharashtra, India. The role leads instrumentation and control engineering, coordinating PMC/EPC activities and ensuring proper installation, testing and handover of projects.

The position requires a B.Tech in E&C/Instrumentation and over 10 years of relevant experience, with hands-on involvement in DCS/PLC/SCADA interfaces, calibration, loop checks and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Review instrument index, I/O lists, control philosophy, datasheets, layouts and cable schedules.
• Review PLC/DCS/SCADA documents for tender compliance and approved specifications.
• Coordinate instrumentation interfaces with process, electrical, mechanical and piping disciplines.
• Monitor instrument installation, junction boxes, cable laying, termination and quality requirements.
• Witness calibration, loop checking and functional testing, and support commissioning activities.
• Identify site discrepancies, technical queries and deviations, and follow up for resolution.
• Maintain inspection reports, test records and punch lists, and track closure of pending works.
• Verify as-built drawings, O&M manuals and final handover documentation.
• Participate in technical/site meetings and report progress to the discipline lead/RCM.
