Job summary

Sealmatic India Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a technically skilled engineer with a Bachelor or Diploma in electricity or electromechanics and 2–3 years of experience. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential. Knowledge of oil and gas industry is a plus.

The selected candidate will review technical documents, prepare instrument specifications, and support project teams to optimize instrument systems and improve performance while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma degree with specialization in electricity or electro-mechanics.
• 2–3 years working experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Oil and gas industry knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review customer's technical documentation and requirements.
• Control of subcontracted discipline engineering documents.
• Prepare the technical documentation for instrumentation and systems requisitions and performs the technical evaluations.
• Provide technical support to project group.
• Optimize instrument systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.
• Prepare specifications for instruments, systems (DCS, ESD, F&G) and installation.
• Prepare functional analysis (control, ESD, F&G).
• Prepare instrument data sheets and loop diagrams.
• Prepare instrument material take-off.
• Perform the F.A.T.
