Job summary

Aditya Birla Group’s Cement division in India seeks a PF Instrument professional (Mines Cr LS T) for Rawan Cement Works. The role demands instrumentation expertise, hands-on maintenance, and proactive safety/compliance practices at a township location in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The incumbent will maximise plant availability, calibrate weighing and gas monitoring systems, and lead cost-efficient Capex-enabled improvements. A strong focus on data historians and Pi systems will be essential.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E in Instrumentation or ECE.
• 5–15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Pyro section, gas analysers, and AC/DC drives.

Responsibilities

• To maximise plant availability, improving productivity and minimizing maintenance cost for Kiln, Coal mill & wagon tippler section.
• Doing calibration of weigh feeders, Rotascle, Coriolis as required and maintaining records for same.
• Regularly checking of gas Analysers, stack monitors and maintaining the records.
• Checking of hydraulic system like IKN cooler, FLS CB cooler and Piffer, mill hydraulics & Wagon tippler hydraulics.
• Regular upkeep of all conveyor safety devices and Bag filters.
• Preparation for cost estimation, finalizing technical specifications and planning for execution for new/Capex jobs.
• Maintaining Pi system & Data historian for the plant.
• Safety standards implementation, safety enhancement at workplace, ISO/WCM system implementation.
• Develop Self and subordinates development, People management.
