Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer for a chemical industry role in Jhagadia, Gujarat. The position requires a minimum of 4 years of instrumentation experience and hands-on work with DCS/PLC systems such as Yokogawa and Siemens.

You will support safety and production priorities while managing spares and maintenance tasks. The candidate will plan and execute breakdown repairs promptly, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Min 4 years of experience in instrumentation engineering.
• Experience with DCS/PLC systems (Yokogawa, Siemens) preferred.
• Maintenance and spares management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain history of spares and instruments (DCS/PLC) databases.
• Provide technical support prioritizing safety and production needs.
• Plan to complete breakdowns in minimum time.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on priority.
• Update and maintain documents and records.
• Coordinate with other service departments to ensure smooth functioning.

• Effective control of material consumption
• Participating in department objectives & achievement
• Execute QMS & EMS procedures to meet quality requirement
• Update & maintain documents & records.
• Participating in training, Also Conduct on job training of immediate subordinate
• Co-ordinate with other service department to ensure smooth functioning of engineering department
• Follow the work instructions of the superior on need basis
