Job summary

Mount Talent Consulting Pvt Ltd in Gurugram is seeking an Instructional Designer Consultant to collaborate with client teams, analyze business problems, and drive the design, development and delivery of effective training solutions.

You will develop curricula, content outlines, templates, and standards while coaching junior staff and applying modern authoring tools. Strong communication and cross-cultural skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven experience in content development and instructional design, storyboard and Articulate storyline.
• Experience developing training modalities such as Instructor-Led Trainings, Web-Based Trainings, simulations, job aids, and quick reference guides.
• Experience in leading and coaching small teams independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client team to understand the business problem, identify solution approach and work through design, development and delivery phases.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis to develop training curriculum.
• Develop high-quality content outlines as per curriculum.
• Design standards, guidelines, templates, and checklists for the proposed learning solution.
• Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to design and develop relevant training deliverables.
• Review training deliverables to ensure quality per project parameters and industry standards.
• Identify and share risks with Project Leads/Functional Manager and discuss mitigations.
• Coach instructional designers and content developers for instructor development workshops.
• Provide clear feedback to the team to develop instructional design skills.
• Identify opportunities to implement new and innovative learning strategies into the solution.
• Apply strong knowledge in instructional design, research and information gathering, content analysis, and trends in the learning industry.
• Proficient with tools like Articulate/Captivate/Lectora/Camtasia/SAP Enable Now/WalkMe and comfortable with client proprietary tools.

Job description

Although no two days are the same, as an Instructional Designer Consultant , a typical day might include:

• Collaborate with the client team to understand the business problem, identify the solution approach and work through the design, development, and delivery phases.


• Conduct Training Needs Analysis to develop the training curriculum.


• Develop high-quality and detailed content outlines as per the curriculum.


• Design standards, guidelines, templates, and checklists for the proposed learning solution.


• Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to design and develop relevant and effective training deliverables.


• Review training deliverables to ensure that the deliverable quality is as per the project quality parameters and industry standards.


• Identify and share the risks with the Project Leads/Functional Manager to discuss possible solutions/mitigations/alternatives.


• Coach instructional designers and content developers to prepare materials for instructor development workshops.


• Provide clear and effective feedback to team with the intent to develop their instructional design skills.


• Identify opportunities to implement new and innovative learning strategies into the solution.


• Leverage proficiency in instructional design, research and information gathering, content analysis, content design, knowledge of latest trends in the learning industry.


• Apply your strong knowledge in industry standard design/rapid authoring tools such as Articulate/Captivate/ Lectora/ Camtasia/ SAP Enable Now/WalkMe and be comfortable with client proprietary authoring tools. An ideal candidate should be well-versed with the technical functionalities and limitations of these tools.


• Work in a problem-solving global environment with Cross cultural competence.


• Possess excellent interpersonal and writing skills with a strong business acumen.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Desired work experience: 4+years of proven experience in content development ,instructional designing, storyboard and Articulate storyline


• Extensive experience in developing, reviewing and delivering different training modalities like Instructor-Led Trainings, Web-Based Trainings, application simulations, job aids, and quick reference guides


• Experience in leading and coaching small teams independently
