Job summary

Responsibilities

Role Summary

The Installation Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all offshore installation activities for AMC projects. The role ensures that all installation operations — including pipelines, subsea structures, jackets, topsides, and other offshore assets — are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company procedures. The Installation Manager leads the offshore installation team and interfaces with engineering, marine, and project management departments to ensure seamless project execution from preparation through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of offshore installation operations for assigned projects.
• Develop and implement detailed installation plans, procedures, and schedules in coordination with project and engineering teams.
• Oversee mobilization and demobilization of installation spreads, vessels, and equipment.
• Ensure all installation activities comply with HSE policies, marine regulations, and client requirements.
• Supervise offshore teams, vessel crews, and subcontractors during execution.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are implemented for all installation tasks.
• Review and approve installation method statements, lift plans, and load-out procedures.
• Liaise with client representatives, marine warranty surveyors, and classification societies.
• Monitor progress, quality, and performance against project objectives and report to Project Management.
• Provide technical input during tendering and project planning stages.
• Ensure lessons learned and as-built documentation are compiled post-installation.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Marine, or Offshore Engineering.
