Job summary

BVR People Consulting in India is seeking a capable Injection Moulding operator to handle day-to-day production activities in the Injection Moulding department, ensure smooth startup after mould changes, and monitor cycle times.

You will troubleshoot process issues, optimize parameters, coordinate with maintenance, quality and tool room teams, and supervise shop-floor operators to meet shift targets while ensuring safety and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day production activities in the Injection Moulding department.
• Perform machine setup, process setting, and parameter optimization to achieve quality and productivity targets.
• Troubleshoot injection moulding process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out mould changeovers and ensure smooth production startup.
• Monitor production, cycle time, OEE, rejection, and downtime, and take improvement actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and tool room teams for uninterrupted production.
• Support new mould trials, process validation, and continuous process improvements.
• Operate and monitor auxiliary equipment such as dryers, MTCs, granulators, and material conveying systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, GMP (if applicable), and company quality standards.
• Supervise shop-floor operators, maintain production records, and ensure shift targets are achieved.
• Work with plastic materials such as ABS, PP, PC, and Nylon.
• Handle injection moulding machines (Nissei, JSW, Fanuc, Sumitomo) and robots (Wittmann/Yushin), if applicable.
