Job summary

Alpine Lifecare Llp invites applications for an Injection Mould Tool Maker. You will manufacture, fit and assemble moulds from 2D/3D drawings, perform polishing, trials and adjustments to meet tight tolerances.

You're expected to operate tool room machines (Milling, Grinding, EDM, Drilling, Lathe) and read engineering drawings. Independent work and adherence to production schedules are essential, with emphasis on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Tool & Die Making is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with injection mould tooling requested.
• Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, fit, assemble and modify injection moulds as per 2D/3D drawings.
• Perform mould fitting, polishing, spotting and trial corrections.
• Operate tool room machines: Milling, Grinding, EDM, Drilling, Lathe.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and mould/tool specifications.
• Carry out mould maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Inspect dimensions using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other precision instruments.
• Identify defects during mould trials and carry out corrections.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Design, Production and Quality teams for mould activities.
• Complete tool-making work within planned schedule.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping in tool room.

Preferred candidate profile

• ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Tool Maker or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-10 years of hands-on experience in Injection Mould Tool Making.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection mould construction, fitting and assembly.
• Experience in Milling, Grinding, EDM, Drilling and other tool room machines.
• Ability to read and understand 2D/3D mould and engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of mould polishing, spotting, modification and maintenance.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates from Plastic Injection Mould / Precision Tool Room industries will be preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet production schedules.
