Job summary

ESDS Software Solution Limited in Kolkata seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT projects, developing plans, schedules and budgets aligned with organizational goals. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define scope, manage risks, and report progress to senior management.

The role requires 5+ years of project management experience on complex projects, with PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and
• objectives.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Establish clear roles and responsibilities for team members and stakeholders, and ensure accountability
• throughout the project.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and issues.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and adjust plans as necessary to meet project
• milestones and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and
• issues.
• Generate opportunities for cross-sell/upsell.
• Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status meetings, and stakeholder presentations.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and
• productivity.
• Keep a close eye on the billing v/s deployed components and highlight diversions, if any.
• Keep in touch with the customer’s business owners and decision makers to understand their technology needs
• and upsell / cross-sell where possible.
• Ensure compliance with project management best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting teamwork, creativity, and innovation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project delivery efficiency
• and effectiveness.
• Mentor and coach junior project management staff, providing guidance and support to facilitate their
• professional growth and development.
• Prepare and present project reports, including status reports, budget updates, and post-project evaluations, to
• senior management and stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

• Master’s degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a demonstrated track record of successfully
• managing complex projects.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project
• objectives.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex
• information to diverse audiences.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple
• projects simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Hybrid, Waterfall, etc.
• Proven ability to identify project risks and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• and requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience managing projects in diverse industries or sectors is a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of project
• management.
• Must be well versed with excel and capable to maintain customer accounts from commercial perspective.
• Should be good at documentation and record keeping.
