Job summary

Infosys is seeking a seasoned network engineer to design, implement, and manage complex enterprise networks across LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data centers. You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers to ensure high availability and security.

The role involves monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with Security, Cloud, Server, and Application teams to support hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required.
• Experience in enterprise networking and troubleshooting preferred.
• Familiarity with security controls and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage enterprise network infrastructure.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Data Center networks.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for connectivity and performance issues.
• Implement network security controls, firewall rules, VLANs, NAC, and access policies.
• Manage routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and VLANs.
• Support cloud networking environments in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Configure and manage VPN solutions for remote connectivity.
• Implement network monitoring and alerting using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with Security, Cloud, Server, and Application teams.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery activities.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry standards.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
