Job summary

Infosys is seeking a network engineer to design, configure, and manage expansive enterprise networks in Hyderabad. You will implement LAN/WAN/WLAN and SD-WAN, VPNs, and data center connectivity, while optimizing performance and capacity.

Responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers, plus monitoring, incident handling, and security policy implementation to align with IT standards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and configuring large-scale networks
• Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and VPNs
• Ability to monitor performance, troubleshoot, and optimize networks

ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and manage enterprise network infrastructure. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Data Center networks. Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers. Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal service delivery. Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for connectivity and performance issues. Implement network security controls, firewall rules, VLANs, NAC, and access policies. Manage routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and VLANs. Support cloud networking environments in AWS, Azure, and GCP. Configure and manage VPN solutions for remote connectivity. Implement network monitoring and alerting using enterprise monitoring tools. Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives. Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures. Collaborate with Security, Cloud, Server, and Application teams. Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery activities. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry standards. Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
