Job Description - Infrastructure Engineer

Minimum 3-4 years of practical working experience as an infrastructure and/or system engineer

supporting large scale server and network infrastructure (On-prem, Cloud).

Must have 2-4 years of hands-on experience with various leading infrastructure management & configuration tools by actively managing production critical environments.

Strong hands-on experience with various aspects of server migration, infrastructure

partition/separation projects including

Key Responsibilities

• Configuration updates, and overall system validation as part of the environment transition

process.

• Provide L2 support to helpdesk, HP factories, labs, and partners, for issues related to

software installation, connectivity, and infrastructure. Provide solution within defined Service

Level

• Agreement (SLA) and assist in issue resolution or escalation if needed.
• Ensure support processes are documented and followed.
• Define and implement improvements as needed.
• Relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, or techniques.
• Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
• Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines in which the company must operate to

be successful.

• Works on complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions.
• Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria

for achieving objectives.

Required Qualification & Skills

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer

Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical discipline.

• Working as an Infrastructure Engineer (Specialist to expert)
• Deploy and maintain VMWare ESXi 7+ or newer
• Deploy and maintain Windows Server 2019 or newer
• Deploy and maintain SQL Server 2017 or newer, and know-how to compose SQL

queries

• Deploy and maintain Linux (Red hat, Ubuntu) compatible
• WAN Routing and Firewall management
• LAN partitioning and sizing
• Hands on experience managing Azure / AMS infrastructure
• AWS / Azure / RHCE / CCNA certified would be a plus
